The Collapse Is on the Way Editorial By the Editor of the newspaper "Kol Ha’am" -------------------------- 16/04/2026 05:44 I have no idea how to begin putting into writing what is on my heart... bitterness and sadness, fear and revulsion, anger and चिंता... I don’t know what you think or know. I think—and am even certain—that within a few years we will find ourselves isolated, ostracized, boycotted, and hated by the entire world—us as Israelis and as Jews, and also as a state, a people, and a society. After U.S. President Trump finishes his term in particular, the United States, just like all of Europe, will turn its back on us. Our enemies will continue to establish themselves, entrench themselves, take root, and win the narrative battle over global consciousness—the narrative that “Israel is the root of the world’s problems” or that “the Jews are the root of all the world’s problems.” The global Generation Z already entirely hates us, and within a few years it will become the voting public and the elected leadership around the world. The world is becoming Islamized; Western countries are increasingly being colored with green flags of Islam, of the Palestinians, and of Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran. There are large waves of conversion to Islam among native Western populations—whether out of ignorance, naivety, or the understanding that it is very worthwhile to join the winning side in the West. The scale of Muslim and Arab immigration to Western countries and their gradual transformation into a majority leaves no doubt. As for Christianity, it is a religion and a civilization in deep crisis. Most locals in Europe see themselves as atheists altogether, and in the United States as well there is a growing movement drifting toward appeasing Islam and Muslims, conversion, and politicians sense the shift in the wind like sharks smelling blood and begin to flirt with the pro-Islamic narrative. All of this while here in Israel nothing has changed course, and the government—and its leader—have not been replaced. The most failed prime minister in the history of the Jewish people, who should have been removed from his seat many years ago, continues with the same tricks, lies, and demagogic tactics, and continues the same mistakes and failed ways of leading the state—if only to remain in power at the expense of all our futures, at the expense of the future of the state and its fate. And he, for his part, continues to lead us toward ruin. This is a government in which nothing functions, and everything is corruption and deceit—the state, in fact, does not function at all, and no member of Knesset or government cares about the people. Where will we be and what exactly will we do in five or ten years when sanctions are imposed on us by all the countries of the world? When we lose our status as an equal nation among nations? When Israelis are unwanted everywhere in the world? When Jews are persecuted everywhere? What will happen then? Will we be able to continue to exist at a reasonable standard of living under sanctions? When exports and imports are blocked? When the Israeli economy is strangled under boycotts and international sanctions? Will Israelis try to flee abroad only to discover that they are not wanted in a Muslim Europe and in an antisemitic United States? How exactly will we defend ourselves against our enemies when a weapons embargo is imposed on us? When in the eyes of the world we do not even have the right to exist? At best, we will find our place as a nuclear “North Korea” of the Middle East, or alternatively as the “apartheid South Africa” of the 21st century—surrounded by enemies and stricken by terrorism from within and wars from without. Who exactly would want to live here? And all this while the share of Arabs and Haredim, who live on allowances, do not pay taxes, and contribute nothing to the state’s economy, is growing demographically at the expense of the productive sectors—something that will destroy the state’s economy in the long term, especially without the American aid on which the state depends. We will become a backward, underdeveloped, ignorant, and racist society that lacks the ability to cope with the challenges before it—we will become a backward Jewish ghetto standing on the brink of a perpetual pogrom or a second Holocaust—a weak and helpless society on the verge of collapse and annihilation. That is where we are heading, step by step, like blind fools—heading there with confidence—and our corrupt leadership has no interest or wisdom to plan, prepare, or think about the future. I am not speaking here about academic or cultural boycotts and other severe blows that are already taking shape before our eyes these days, but about existence itself—life itself. We have all seen clearly what our enemies aspire to do to us on October 7—what their desired goal is. What is shocking in all of this is the feeling of international support among young Europeans and Americans of Generation Z for that massacre. These are the same people who today chant in demonstrations in Brussels and New York, or at universities in Europe and the United States, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” or shout “We want Jewish genocide!” And tomorrow they will wear ties and elegant suits and lead Western countries, determining the attitude and policy toward us—the laws, the sanctions, the embargoes, the discrimination, and the antisemitism and anti-Israel policies—and will make comparisons between Zionism and Nazism. Jews in the West, just like Jews in Israel, still do not internalize or believe that this has suddenly happened to them. There are those who still cling to the hope that if they condemn Israel, or the Israeli leadership, or Israeli policy—or even oppose Zionism and condemn it—they will be able to save themselves. In my opinion, they are mistaken, because our enemies place all of us under the same shared fate. Historians in the future may try to answer the question of how and exactly when the world turned against Israel and the Jewish people and decided that they have no right to exist. The only thing that is certain is that the danger lurking for us in the not-so-distant future is even greater than the Iranian threat, or Hamas, or Hezbollah. -------------------------------- ##המפולת בדרך ###דבר מערכת ###מאת עורך עיתון "קול העם" -------------------------- 16/04/2026 05:44 אין לי מושג איך להתחיל להעלות על כתב את אשר על ליבי... מרירות ועצב פחד ותיעוב כעס ודאגה... אני לא יודע מה אתם חושבים או יודעים אני חושב ואפילו בטוח בכך שבעוד מספר שנים אנחנו נימצא את עצמנו מבודדים מנודים מוחרמים ושנואים על ידי כול העולם אנחנו כישראלים וכיהודים וגם כמדינה וכעם וחברה לאחר שנשיא ארה"ב טראמפ יסיים את כהונתו בעיקר וארה"ב ממש כמו כול אירופה כולה יפנו לנו את הגב ואויבנו ימשיכו להתבסס ולהתבצר ולהכות שורש ולנצח בנרטיב על תודעת העולם - אותו נרטיב ש"ישראל היא שורש הבעיות בעולם" או ש"היהודים הם שורש כול הבעיות בעולם" דור ה Z העולמי כבר כולו שונא אותנו והוא הולך תוך כמה שנים להיות קהל המצביעים והניבחרים ברחבי העולם והעולם הולך ומתאסלם מדינות המערב הולכות וניצבעים דגלים ירוקים של האיסלם ושל הפלסטינים ושל החמאס וחיזבאללה ואיראן - יש גלים גדולים של התאסלמות בקרב הילידים המערביים אם מתוך בורות ואם מתוך תמימות ואם מתוך הבנה שבעצם כדאי מאוד להצטרף לצד המנצח במערב - גדלי ההגירה של מוסלמים וערבים לארצות המערב והפיכתם לרוב אט אט איננה משאירה ספק ובאשר לנצרות מדובר בדת ובציוויליזציה במשבר עמוק רוב המקומיים באירופה רואים בעצמם אתיאיסטים בכלל ואילו בארה"ב גם שם ישנה תנועה הולכת וגדלה של סחף לכיוון ריצוי האיסלאם והמוסלמים והמרת דת והפוליטיקאים מריחים את השינוי ברוח כמו כרישים שמריחים דם ומתחילים לפלרטט עם הנרטיב הפרו איסלאמי כול זאת כשפה בישראל עדיין לא החליפו דיסקט ועדיין לא החליפו את הממשלה והעומד בראשה - ראש הממשלה הכושל בתולדות ההיסטוריה היהודית שהיה צריך לעוף מכיסאו כבר לפני שנים רבות ואשר ממשיך באותם שטיקים ושקרים ותכסיסים דמגוגיים וממשיך באותם טעויות ודרכים כושלות להנהיג את המדינה ולו רק כדי להישאר בשלטון על חשבון העתיד של כולנו על חשבון עתיד המדינה וגורלה והוא בשלו ממשיך להוביל אותנו לאובדון - זוהי ממשלה ששום דבר איננו מתפקד בה והכול שחיתות ומרמה - המדינה למעשה איננה מתפקדת כלל ואיש מחברי הכנסת או הממשלה איננו דואג לעם היכן נהיה ומה נעשה בדיוק בעוד חמש או עשר שנים כשאר יוטלו עלינו סנקציות על ידי כול מדינות העולם? כאשר נאבד את מעמדינו כאומה שווה בקרב האומות? כאשר ישראלים יהיו לא רצויים בכול העולם? כשאר יהודים יהיו נירדפים בכול העולם? מה יהיה אז? האם נוכל להמשיך ולהתקיים ברמת חיים סבירה כשאנו תחת סנקציות? כשהייצוא והייבוא חסומים? כשאר הכלכלה הישראלית נחנקת תחת חרם וסנקציות בינלאומיות? האם ישראלים ינסו לברוח לחו"ל רק כדי לגלות שהם אינם רצויים באירופה המוסלמית ובארצות הברית האנטישמית? כיצד בדיוק נגן על עצמנו מפני אויבינו כאשר מוטל עלינו אמברגו נשק? כשבעיני העולם אין לנו אפילו את הזכות להתקיים? נמצא את מקומנו במקרה הטוב כ"צפון קוריאה" גרעינית של המזרח התיכון או לחליפין כ"דרום אפריקה של האפרטהייד" של המאה ה 21 מוקפת אויבים ומוכת טרור מבית ומלחמות מבחוץ - מי בדיוק ירצה לחיות פה? וכול זאת בהתחשב בעובדה שחלקם של הערבים והחרדים שחיים על קיצבאות ואינם משלמים מיסים ואינם תורמים דבר לכלכלת המדינה הולך וטופח דמוגרפית על חשבון יתר המגזרים היצרניים דבר אשר יהרוס את כלכלת המדינה לטווח ארוך בייחוד ללא הסיוע האמריקאי אשר בו המדינה תלוייה - נהפוך לחברה מפגרת ונחשלת בורה וגיזענית אשר אין לה את היכולת לעמוד מול האתגרים הניצבים בפניה - נהפוך לגטו יהודי נחשל העומד על סף פוגרום נצחי או שואה שנייה - חברה נחשלת וחסרת אונים העומדת על סף החידלון והאובדון לשם אנו צועדים צעד אחר צעד כעיוורים ושוטים לשם אנו צועדים בביטחה ולהנהגה המושחתת שלנו אין כול עיניין או תבונה לתכנן ולהתכונן או לחשוב על העתיד אינני מדבר פה על חרם אקדמי או תרבותי ושאר מכות אנושות שכבר הולכים וקורמים עור וגידים מול עינינו בימים אלה אלא על עצם הקיום והחיים עצמם כולנו ראינו היטב למה שואפים אויבינו לעשות לנו ב 7 באוקטובר - מהי שאיפתם הנחשקת... מה שמזעזע בכול זאת הוא רגש התמיכה הבינלאומי של אירופאים ואמריקאים צעירים בני דור ה Z בטבח הזה אלה הם אותם אנשים אשר היום שרים בהפגנות בבריסל וביו יורק או באוניברסיטאות באירופה ובארצות הברית "מהנהר עד לירדן פלסטין תהיה חופשית" או צורחים "אנחנו רוצים ג'נוסייד יהודי!" ומחר הם ילבשו עניבות וחליפות מהודרות וינהיגו את ארצות המערב ויקבעו את היחס והמדיניות כלפינו את החוקים ואת הסנקציות ואת האמברגואים את האפלייה ואת האנטישמיות והאנטי ישראליות ויעשו השוואות בין ציונות לנאציזם יהודי המערב ממש כשם שיהודי ישראל עדיין לא מפנימים ולא מאמינים שזה פתאום קרה להם יש כאלה שעדיין נאחזים בתקווה שאם יגנו את ישראל או את ההנהגה הישראלית או את המדיניות הישראלית או אף אם יצאו חוצץ נגד הציונות ויגנו אותה הם יוכלו להינצל - לדעתי הם טועים - כי אויבינו שמים את כולנו באותו גורל משותף - היסטוריונים בעתיד אולי ינסו לענות על השאלה כיצד ומתי בדיוק התהפך העולם על ישראל והעם היהודי והחליט שאין להם זכות קיום - הדבר היחידי שבטוח הוא שהסכנה שאורבת לנו בעתיד הלא נורא רחוק היא אף גדולה יותר מאשר האיום האיראני או החמאס או החיזבאללה
